Fuel injected engines will inject extra fuel when starting from cold and this can accumulate in the cylinders and wet the spark plugs. The cure is the same as for carburettor engines - turn the engine over for a minute with the gas pedal to the floor. Most engine management systems switch off the fuel if you do that.
i tried to start it this morning,it wouldn't start.i don't touch the accelerater peddle,auto-choke.left it for an hour, lifted the back seat, disconnected the 2 wire plug, then reconnected it straight away.is it the fuel guage connector?anyway, the engine started straight away!!was is the hours wait or the wire that made it start then?
