I have a nephew in Alberta who loves all things British. He wants me to send him a british plate to put on his vehicle. Are there regulations on this or can I send him a copy of my 'cherished' plate

I can't see why not, it'd be more of a question for the US though, is he intending to have it on the car as well as the US plate?

He is Canadian and will also be carrying Alberta plates

He'd need to be sure that it doesn't conflict with the local rules.

You do see the occasional vehicle over here that carries plates from other countries along with UK ones.
