Sumtimes 1200, when little bulb is on its way out it keeps on at you 2 say theres a problem when there int. Could it be that ?

vw brake warning lights do come on very early,although the pads look good, the discs often get worn causing ridges at the inner and outer circumferences,making contact with the sensor wires.

have you checked the fluid level there is a sensor on the flote .
also your pads might be fitted with wear indicators they will triger the brake warning light ,
