What does the orange engine picture mean on the seat lean s,

it came last night just before I got home. I had a look in the manual that came with the car but it does not tell me (in lay terms what it means) basically say's take to a seat dealer etc. It' a 2002 Seat Leon S. I wondered if it was a filter that needed replacing.

unortunately modern vehicles have so much technology they need specialist equipment (diagnostic ) kit to read faults etc. it could be anything from a sensor to a bad earth
Most garages have some form of equipment available although the manufactures kit always seems to be more comprehensive .

9 times out of 10 its noyhing at all apart from the tinyest fault as the other person said,a dirty sensor,id run it and ignor it if the car runs well,ive had it on 100s of cars

Could be something as simple as a leak on your exhaust confusing the air (Lambda) sensor to get confused.
