Got any worn tyres?
Your wheels needs balancing.
correct your wheels need balancing, you will find if you go up to 75 they may smooth out again, bashing up curbs n tyre wear is the coarse
It sounds like the tracking could be out
Wheels need balancing.
you would asume if the fronts were out you would feel it through the steering...

thanks for all your replies......my tyres look fine loads of tread ...but might not be a bad idea to get tracking done and balancing.......maybe it may have been the road itself as it didnt really do it tonight on way home
If you look closely at the walls of the wheel itself, you should see a lead weight, in length it is about an inch check your front wheels to see if there is one missing, If the car has alloy wheels these weight are on the inner rim of the wheel, you said it may have been the road!! make sure you have this right, The imbalance as said would have effected your steering when you noticed the Vibrate, but you can drive out of this by increasing your speed, but that does not solve the wheel imbalance.
