I'm due to drive in Europe this summer and I've been getting my Tomtom ready. I've set it to remind to drive on the right and I was just wondering how this works. Is it just a reminder at intervals or is the sat nav really that clever it registers if I'm on the wrong side of the road?

thanks

It's connected to the airbag sensor, so the first time you hit something head on, it shouts in it's best Michael Caine voice:
".... and daan't fget, in this caantry they drive on tha wrong side of the raad"!
RIGeezer may be correct but my Tomtom simply displays a message to remind you each time it is switched on when used in mainland Europe.
