air conditioning

anybody had this problem,when i put my a/c on i get warm air coming into car .when i switch off everything when i am driveing i get warm air .was told by a garage it was my control panel on my vauxhall .(change it cost a bomb )no change what so ever .speaking to a driver he said it just could be that the gases may need doing .only had the car 6mths dont no if its been done any body had this problem.would be most grateful for your help
