Clio boot wont open!!

I have a Clio Dynamique 02 and the boot wont open, unfortunately there is no key hole so it only opens via the infra red key, this opens the doors but not the boot... a diagnostics check showed the electrics needed attention (this was to do with the hazards coming on when Id parked it up for the night!! plus the whole car cut out on me on the motorway!!) thing is... to get the electrics sorted Ive been told its around �1000!!!! Need to sell the car but need to get into the boot before hand!! Can anyone please help with the 'boot' situtation???!!!

Hi, take the back seat base out, remove the back rest of the seat that way you can unclasp the rear boot lid.
