Are they good or bad? Its on a Daihatsu HiJet R Reg, 1000 cc. Think I'm buying it anyway, just wondered if it is likely to cause me any grief.

You'd be hard pressed to find any modern petrol engine that didn't have electronic fuel injection.

yep, the days of carbs are long gone, electronics have taken over ..
As regards causing grief, only if anything goes wrong which in theory is rare, but most modern cars are beyond the reach of the Haynes manual brigade when electronics and control modules start piddling about..
