Ford Mondeo electrics were off so we now need code for the radio! how do I go about getting the code! Do I have to pay for it ! if so where is the best place to do so! Thanks

Try useing the last 4 numbers of your VIN for your radio code, I have heard that this sometimes works, good luck.

Dont try last 4 numbers of VIN - it does not work, nor does putting the radio in the freezer for a while - both urban myths. The first will lock out your radio if you keep trying, the second will damage your radio

Please post the Serial no from the sticker on the casing, and I'll tell you the code.
I assume it is a Ford unit?
You know how to enter for that model, presumably?

The radio manufacturer makes and codes the radios, supplying data to Ford.
Ford build the car and produce the VIN
Ford do not manufacture radios, CD players, etc.
