Heater problems are common with Fiestas. (I write from experience!). The most common causes are:
(i) insufficient coolant - check the level ;
(ii) obstructed coolant flow - flush the system ;
(iii) a faulty thermostat - cheap to replace ;
(iv) a faulty heater control valve - also cheap to replace ; or
(v) a faulty heater matrix - more expensive to replace.

If you knew so much about Fiestas, you would know there is no heater control valve .. as it is an air blend heater.

1, 2 or 3 are most likely.

See if the small heater pipe from inlet manifold to bulkhead gets hot when engine hot.
If not, check/change thermostat and check water flow.
