Is 87000 miles too high for a diesel engine?
I\'m thinking of buying this car http://inverness.gumtree.com/inverness/67/47450067.html but the mileage is higher than I was thinking of (my ideal scenario was round about 50k). I\'ve got this idea that higher mileages have less effect on a diesel engine but I\'m not really sure why? Can anyone offer advice?

The only problem with that clio will be the turbo on the 1.9 engine, check in the service history if it has been renewed, they are not that good and can ruin the enine if the seals go.
Cambelt should be renewed every 70,000 miles or every 5 years, so check that aswell.
It does look in good condition though.
