hi got isuzu trooper 3.0d keeps loosing power changed fuel filter and housing it struggles to start when been left as if theres no fuel any ideas thanks

your carb could be blocked or pipes coul be frozen

look for fuel leak, arround injector pump, as this will allow fuel to run back towards the tank,

if it does have a leak in that area you should smell it quite easyly with engine running and bonnet up,
Did you change air filter by the way,?
It does sound as though air is getting into the system though.

Injectors perhaps. I think you can get diesel injector cleaner.
