CAR WARRANTY WHO PAYS ??

Having a Turbo replaced in my car under warranty( thank goodness). Who actually pays for the Warranty Labour. Getting the impression from the workshop i may have to pay something !!!

depends on the warranty, manufacturers or dealers etc.With a new vehicle it shouldnt cost you anything, with a used car warranty you need to read the small print

sometimes a contribution is required if outside the warranty period,
Do not pay anything, the garage that fitted the Turbo reclaims the labour + a replacement unit.

as long as OE (original equipment) is used then warranty is still valid regardless of who caries out the service!!

eu law confirms this....its to prevent a monopoly by franchised dealers....
