My grandson has been given his second choice but that's fine cos the first choice was a school alot further away and wishful thinking on his mum's part as it was her old school, he's going to the ex-grammar school that has some of the best results in the county and so all good so far!

Waiting nervously to hear about my daughter's place - my sons are already at the school (primary) but we live slightly outside of the catchment area now. Fingers crossed!

Don't they give any sibling priority, sherrardk ?

We should be OK but the school also serves an army camp where there is a lot of movement! If she doesn't get in I will home school her until a place becomes available (there is a lot of movement unlike most schools).

Thanks for that - don't really want her to stay at home as she is 5 in September and more than ready to go to school. Also, don't know how much we would manage to get done at home with 2 year old twins running around!
