In need of some advice please. A friend of mine has a Jimny ,05reg.,which she has had since new. It has passed it's first two MOTs with no problems , but this time it failed because the n/s headlamp was dipping the wrong way due to an incorrect lens. This has obviously been like this from new,so therefore we feel it should be Suzuki's responsibility to put it right as it should have been sorted on the PDI.,but at the moment they do not appear to be very helpful. Would be very iterested in your opinions. Many Thanks. Eric.

If you are sure the headlamp has not been changed from new,I suggest you check if the headlamp BULB is correctly seated and clipped or have a beam deflactor stuck on the lens, the beam pattern may become flat and an advisory will be given instead of the failure.
not sure how it got through the first 2 MOTs ? did it fail at the same place that passed it last time ?
