I guess some one might of posted some codes ..
Hi looobylooo - I wondered the same. As far as I could see it did not break the Site Rules because no-one offered you a radio code. Everyone respected the Editor's wishes in this respect. Even more surprising was that there were five adverts around the edges of the page advertising - yes you got it - radio codes.

Guess they are allowed because of one thing - revenue.

nooo i wasnt shouting april, no need to shout.

my last post was to you mr k saying that ive hopefully got it sorted (i wont re-type how incae that was the problem, but i dont think i said anything wrong, it was only taking up one of the suggestions that was posted up...? so im a bit baffled....?

hmmmm... most strange daily ed.....?

ahwell, never mind .... :o/
loobylooo - I have just checked the transcript of your post and it appears that three website links were offered as possible sources for your radio code. I can only assume your thread was removed on the no advertising site rule. As I said earlier, rather strange when this site is accepting paid-for advertising the same products.

By the way - did you notice April21's comment has been removed? Wink wink!
Question Author
oh right ok ed, thanks.

but werent the suggested links already on last nights posts? and the thread was still up and running tonight werent they...?

anyway, never mind, no big deal i suppose eh ...

thanks for your help :o)
5 kids under 10 so not surprising that offers of baby sitting are thin on the ground) - too knackered to go out anyway.
Obviously there will not be an official explanation for the thread removal - but hope you get your radio sorted asap. Keep smiling
Sorry for the above - got mixed up!

thats ok sherrardk lol, no probs ...

thanks ed, i will know tomorrow lol .. fingers crossed!

over n out :o)
When I first came onto this site as a lot of us, I helped many people retrieve their radio codes as that was the purpose of the Motoring section, I did notice on several post that there was a lot of Info coming over Eg/ the code, the radio Serial No, the Barr code, the Make, & a lot of other radio Info, this to me did not make a lot of sense when all that some one wanted was the code, Warning bells started it was even worse when my wife's cars new radio get Nicked, that was it for me that's the time I give up helping people especially with their codes. I do not think that we out here are nasty by saying go to your dealer all we are saying is there is every chance that the radio MAY HAVE BEEN NICKED Looobylooo, I wanted to help you, in fact I was going to give you a site Name to contact, I was very near ready to send it to you until I thought of " what could have been an Error & contradicted all I had been preaching RE/ Car Codes, I think it is right that Qs regarding car codes be deleted as soon as they come on, after all it could be your or any one's Sons / Daughters car radio that cost them a lot of their money that had been nicked, just think about it.
