Brake pedal vibrates when braking

Recently had wishbone and wheel bearing replaced on the front passenger side of my Micra 1.0 GX Auto, after a month or so I noticed that the brake pedal was vibrating when I braked along with vibration in the steering wheel, I was advised to have my brake discs and pads replaced - but the problem has remained. Thinking there was still possibly a problem with the bearing I spoke with the mechanic who originally did the work on the car and he doesn't believe that it is this causing the problem - what do you think?
