roof rails for a Honda CRV

We would like to use a roof box on our 2000 reg Honda CRV but it doesn't appear to have any roof rails or slots so does anyone know what we would have to get or do beforehand?

You will have to get the correct bars, something like this............

Don't go to Halfords you need the correct ones for your vehicle.

Halfords are stockists of Thule roof bars and boxes and if they don't have the ones for your vehicle in stock they will order them, also sometimes they are cheaper than the main dealers part.
