But need a cheap run around for a few months as i need to sell mine.
I have just found a 1993 suzuki vitari 4x4 thing and i LOVE it, its done 87500 miles, MOT for 12 months.
its £495.

Would it be reeeallly stupid to buy it? My mum just said that she would never buy a car for so little money... but it is only going to be used for a few months and not long distance...

At that price with 12 months MOT you can't go wrong. Take it for a test drive and ask when it was last serviced and brakes were done. Just remember it's 17 years old and anything could go wrong but that's the gamble you take buying a car for such little dosh.
I'd go for it...........my new cars depreciate by about £1000.00 a year so I think it's worth it.

Thank you! I figured that even if it only lasts 3 months it will be less than i would have to pay for public transport!!!
I'm going to give them a ring tomorrow :)
Thanks!!!
Offer them £400...
I bought a car from ebay for £340, a fiat bravo. It needed repairs though but got mates rates as someone I know did it and it passed it's MOT. All in all cost £500.
Do you know someone knowledgeable who could come to look at it with you? Wouldn't guarantee anything but they should spot any obvious problems.

it does say no offers, but will try....!!
Now my dad saying that petrol will be reallly expensive for it...cuz its "4 drive"... will it be looooads more expensive that my current little Yaris?!!
Hi Nannon, take a tip, take someone with you that has knowledge with the mechanics of any car let alone this 4X4. Looking at your pic money will be tight, it's too easy to say I want it 7 then finding out you have been done, that has happened to a few I have known through this site & never taken heed of the warnings, there are many things on this motor that could go wrong but there again that could happen with any used car, Mothers might be a pain in the @rse but they have been here a bit longer than you & seen a bit of life.
