i have bought the prong things but i still cant remove my radio, what else can i try?

Nothing else holding it in. There's a knack to using them.
It's not model with two small holes each side, I hope?

if these are the prongs that fit in 2 holes either side ,the trick is to insert them until you feel a click, then pull them sideways (opposites obviously) as you pull outwards this should release it. Pushing them in all the way actually jams the radio in place.
