mazda 3 1.6 diesel

i am looking at purchasing a mazda 3 on an 05 plate. and am wondering if any one has firsthand knowledge of reliabilty.
it a cat c repair with 53000 miles on the clock and all the damage was stated to be uneconomic repair.
also is there any issues with buying a cat c reapir that may bite me in the behind in the future.

you consider the price your paying and the price you would pay if it wasnt a cat c. the main thing is you will find it very hard to sell on after you have finished with it x
