Car engine cutting out
my car engine cut-out twice in the space of a few minutes. Firstly, it was when I was approaching a round about and secondly, when I was turning in to my estate, so I was in second gear at the time. Luckily, there was no other car coming the other way as I was still sticking out on the main road.
I haven't used my car for 5 days, as I have been away and I've only made stop-start journeys today.
My car is a Peugeot 206, 03 reg and has very low mileage for its age.
Does anyone know what the problem could be, as I am definitely not stalling the car.
Thank you

Was the weather wet when the engine cut out? You could try spraying the ignition leads and distributor with WD-40. Check the low voltage leads and their connectors under the bonnet. Are there any loose connections and frayed leads? It is exceptionally dangerous to drive such a car on dual carriageways and motorways. Can you imagine the consequences of the engine cutting out at 70mph in the outside lane?
