What is the most economic way to ride a twist and go 50cc Moped, considering it isn't geared, there can't be many options but could someone please tell me what the most economic riding style would be as i cannot afford to be spending much on petrol (not that it costs much £8:00 to fill the tank!), TIA

forgot to add, usually if i am on an open road i will ride with the throttle fully open but recently to "save money" i have been getting it up to top speed then lowering the revs as i thought that in theory this would use less fuel? Am i right?
2 strokes tend to be more efficient at higher rpm and low loads.
Question Author
it's a 4 stroke.
The only other thing that will help is to close the throttle when approaching hazards, roundabouts, give way signs, anything that makes you slow down, in other words use the brakes as little as possible, that will save a bit of petrol.

What MPG do you get? it must be pretty good.
PS Accelarate slowly.
