Combo Van 03 plate

The van's been running like a Donkey the last wee while, starts first time & great from cold for about 2 mins then very "stuttery". I've had the tank out n' cleaned, also the lines n' new filter fitted. New Glow plugs 2000 mls ago. Clutch is OK too. I'm lost as to what can be the problem. Any help/advice will be greatly apprieciated.

This could indeed be an EGR valve problem ...
You could also try a bottle of injector cleaner and try a damn good thrashing.
Anything else, it would have to go on a machine.

some combo's fuel system breathes through the fuel filler cap, the cap will say ventilated on it if it is, these sometimes block up and need replacing, it the tank sucks air in when you release the cap you have a problem, this may not become apparent until you have used nearly a full tank without removing the cap, in extreme cases the tank sucks itself in and deforms under vacuum,
