driving illegally ????

If i get banned from driving in the UK can i sit a driving test in Ireland or France or Germany and then drive in the UK again (driving licence)

Just to clarify, I think Steve means that the same applies in all countries not that you are banned from all countries.

Steve is correct, if you are banned in Britain, why do you imagine that having a foriegn licence would somehow change that?

I always find this question strange when it comes up.
you can however drive in another country if you have a licence for that country
I think your original question has been mis-read.

You can take out a provisional licence with the intention of re taking a test in another country where you have not been banned but the problem is you will have to produce evidence of residency in the country where you are applying for that licence.
