yes they can, espeacially as you were drunk.
As Norman says, yes, but they have to remove the owner first.
who said he was drunk?? (or she ...sorry)
ah-ha i see, well thank you Panic, all's clear now ; )
Yes but there is a loop hole if your car is seized for no insurance take a mate who has fully comp who can drive another car on his policey that does not belong to him.
And he or she can get the car out.
A fine may still apply but you will get your car back.
im fully comp but it states on all fully comp insurance you are only allowed to drive a car that is insured
Mine doesnt i can drive any car
The other car does not have to be insured i thought this that the other car had to be insured but after asking the police they said nope
Also there was a documentary on cars being seized and it told you the loop hole
Very smart of you, dave 1969, but the vehicle is still uninsured and will contine to be taken off you. But please carry on as Dave says and get a fine & points and the next time you'll get the same and then you'll be banned, and if you continue as a disqualified driver you will definately get your car taken off you & crushed.
This was told to me by a mate who is high up in the police
I think different places do things different
Like the new law on booster seats it came on local news the police wont fine any one in manchester for not using the seats just advice.
And asked another city out side manchester and they said the opposite.
