I can sympathise with folk who think they're being ripped off by this tax, but one of the reasons it's high, is because of those who don't bother to pay! If the car's standing on the road, ask the police to walk round and have a look!!
Of the two cars he had 18 months ago only one of the Reg plates married up to the car, the other one didn`t marry up to anything, both cars went after two weeks

I taxed two of my cars on the same day at a post office ,two day before the end of the month, and the tax disc's have consecutive serial numbers. I have received a computer generated letter informing me that as I have not taxed my car and that I face prosecution. The letter is unsigned and does not include a phone number and the computer is telling me I MUST fill in the form and return it to them. And I am expected to pay the postage. Perhaps as I would be replying to a computer my reply should read 11010001000110111100101000011010000 with knobs on!
