turning left at a yellow box junction

If turning left can I stop in the yellow box if my exit is not clear eg. ajunction has a crossing 10metres after turning left.

If you are turning right and the exit is not clear you CANNOT stop in the box.

No, your exit must be clear for you to enter. You can only stop if waiting to turn right, as you are waiting for the oncoming traffic to cease

However, you may enter the box and wait when you want to turn right, and are only stopped from doing so by oncoming traffic, or by other vehicles waiting to turn right.
