Haven't seen the film, so not sure but Johnny Wakelin released a track way back called "In Zaire" ...
if they didn't use that track they must be stupid !!! :-)

I thought of that song immediately, but looking on Amazon, it's not on the Soundtrack ... like you said, it shoud have been, it's perfect for it.
