Green Day ticket limits

Does anybody on here work for a ticket selling agency? I just wanted to find out if rules are adhered to when ticket applications are limited. My friend wants to be able to take both her husband and her daughter to see Green Day at Manchester but they are limited to two tickets per applicant. I realise they can just have two different people apply in order to get enough tickets, but that would mean them sitting apart - not the end of the world, but surely not something you'd choose to do when you are wanting to treat the family. Any tips on what she should do? Tickets go on sale on Friday morning.
