If you are asking the name of the theme tune used for the show during the 70s and 80s then the simple answer is "Match Of The Day" and was written especially for the programme in 1970 by Barry Stoller. It is often incorrectly labeled with the title "Offside" which was actually the name of the group which commercially released an alternative version of MotD in 1970.

Thanks for the quick response!! No was my fault - I should been more specific. Its the music played at the start when you first load the DVD and are at the menu screen and also at the end when the credits are coming up. I know the famous Match Of The Day tune so its the music played at beginning and end of the 1970's & 1980's of the DVD version specifically I am looking info about. Thanks
