piece played by the Planets

Mike Batt   (He of Womble fame) composed , or directed  or even produced an  instrumental piece played   by artists that he refered to as ' Planets',,, (nothing to do with Holst).  Can anyone enlighten me..  I remember 1 l'Planet with a violin and 1 Planet with a double bass or cello   also  i think   all the Planets are female, but could be wrong on that
