did anyone see a young American singer called Jackie Evancho

she was featured recently on BGT i think. She is the 13 year old who either won, or was on another talent show possibly american idol, If anyone did see her, were you impressed or not quite sure if its her singing, because i can't believe a 13 year old and shes been singing for a while, is for real or whether shes just very good at lip synching. Because i couldn't marry up the soprano voice that comes out of this little girl. Forget charlotte church, this is something quite different.

on BGT, a show i don't usually watch, as i think the show is just a money making exercise for SC, i had momentarily changed channels and just caught a smidgen, she sang Nessun Dorma, then was asked for her opinion by ant and dec what the contestants should do, or something like that, and she struck me as rather older than 11, and my point if you read the post was that many people including myself wondered if it been faked, she certainly wasn't singing live i do know that. If she did indeed do an acapella song then i would certainly like to hear it. Sorry but i believe that if SC has her career in his hands then unless the parents are vigilant, she could end up just another good singer that got lost along the way.

A voice of such quality won't get 'lost' anywhere, in the same way that Aled jones and Charlotte Church weren't at similar ages.
