I heard these guys being interviewed the other day. I thought "What a bunch of petulant idiots" - turns out they make pleasant enough fuzz-noise.

I guess this kind of thing counts too.

I feel like there is almost a direct line between the Velvet Underground/Lou reed and Spiritualized. Am I alone in this?

I like Foster for the people, it was on soundtrack to skiing last year. Really glad they've got picked up so heavily by Radio 1.

there is a better one, it was the only track i heard before buying it, and its like that only more boogie woogie.
