Does anyone know who first had a hit in the 1940's with 'In the Mood'? I say Joe Loss, my parrtner says ' Glenn Miller'

Joe Loss was more 50s & 60s. But dunno for sure.

Glenn Miller was the first he co wrote it as was famous for it during the war years I have an LP record of his which I bought 25 years ago which gives the history of this and his music.
You could just type "in the mood" into Google like I did
