Need the name of song

i've heard this as a theme tune to an old comedy sketch show as well as incidental music on other programs.

Tune starts with a jangly guitar into that sounds very much like Altered Images, one of the lines sound like "im not gonna show the way" and is repeated several times.

Song is probably around the 1980's or 1900's.

Think the sketch show was naked video , and i think it was used in sketches rather than the theme tune itself.

Completely out on the timeline, and the tune must have been a similar sounding one on Naked Video.
