"Uncovered in a French barn, the synthesiser contains the remnants of Daphne Oram’s usage of it, visible in her handwritten notes and ink-stained compositions. In order to generate music on the device, the user had to paint waveforms directly onto the 35mm film strips – thanks to this technological detail, strokes of Daphne’s genius remain preserved."
