Is the storm referred to the Vietnam war - I presume it is. If so is there anywhere on the internet that documents this.

In a similar light to "Drifting", "Night Bird Flying" and "In From the Storm", "Angel" is proof of how important to Hendrix a mother figure was to save him from isolation and loneliness.[6]

Just lifted this from wikia. His parents relationship was referred to as a storm the the above makes sense.
