UK Pop Quiz Championships
37 Answers
There are so many 'experts' on the subject of Music on here, am curious as to why I've never come across any of you at the UK Music Quiz championships. Surely if you have such a knowledge on a subject then you would want to test yourself against the best music brains in the UK. Commencing in March, this team event brings together players from as far north as Edinburgh and far south as London in a knockout tournament featuring Pop Music from all decades. There are many prizes up for grabs but the fact that you've played against a Neil Barker, Dave Bastable, Jon Kutner or Steve Burdin is worth the entry alone. There must be some 'Answerbankers' who can hold their own, surely?

I can think of a few groups who had around 3 number ones including one in 1973 but not with different singers and I know lots of groups that varied their singers (Darts, Showaddywaddy, Abba, Osmonds, ) but didn't have 3 number ones.
A tiny clue please? I know I'm not good enough but i enjoy taking part
