This is a song by a soulful duo, man and woman. I think it's called now I know. These are the first few lines: (Man) I gave no strength no life to you when we were first in love you wanted joy I gave you none my work seemed quite enough. (Woman) You want to play but I was wrong I looked for love elsewhere. When you were home I turned away was blind to your despair. (Both) Looking back on all we've done, now I see we were so young if only we had more time

Thanks a lot Judge Nutmeg, that's the song alright but not the singers I've got the version by. They're a couple of soul singers. Funny thing that the play from which it comes is set around my area of the North West. I'll film it complete with words and put in a URL tomorrow when it's light.
