Who sang the chorus that went, "Looking Like A Ho...?"

It's an old school hip hop song from either the late 70s or the early 80s...just can't seem to get the name of that one. Please help, thanks.

Hip Hop was around in the late 70's! It was however the 80's when it really blew up and became huge. I dont recall them rapping about Ho's back then, that was later in the 80's.

I agree about rap records from the late 70s- I've posted about that before (in fact we even discussed whether Gill Scott Heron's 1970 track (above) and Here Comes The Judge were rap records. I just don't remember it being called Hip Hop at the time (although I remember Rapper's Delight lyrics saying something like "Hip Hop Hippety Hop").
When I said it was the 90s I was referring to the Dido Brown 'Looking Like a Ho' track.
The first time I remember hearing the word Ho was the 90s

Your right it wasnt widely called Hip-Hop back then but just Rap as it didnt have much of an identity then as ithe genre was in its infancy. Afrika Bambaataa is credited with coining the Hip-Hop phrase and the four elements, DJ ing, Breakdancing, Rapping and Grafitti so it is an old phrase, possibly very early eighties? I love old school Hip-Hop and grew up on it so its a huge passion of mine! I was trying to think about the use of the term Ho and i reckon it started in the late eighties, possibly Two Live Crew, Slick Rick, NWA.... I need to dig out the vinyl!
