Can anyone help me trace a song from the 80s or 90s which contains the lyrics: "as a matter of fact the man no longer wants me"? Could be light reggae or lover's rock, I'm not sure.

Yes its called A Matter of Fact. The group were called Innocence, the album is called Belief.  I have it on tape.  Its the first song on side 2. Thanks for reminding me about it, I'm going to play it now
