I'm trying to trace and buy a song which I heard as a child in the 40s called The Wind and The Rain (Oh the wind drives the rain against my window-pane, as I sit in my room only thinking and dreaming of you ..etc. It was on the other side of You are my Sunshine.

I think you'll find the song is 'Sabre Dance' by Woody Herman. You wil find it on Herman's 'Eight Shades Of Blue 1945 - 47', a compilation album which was released two years ago on the Inprint label.
