strange voice

i heard a song on the radio the other day and the singer had a very strange and unusual voice. it was kinda high and sounded cracking and croaking. i know its not much to go on but any suggestions would be appreciated.

keilo your a legend!!!! the artist was wrecking my head i couldnt stand the singer when i first heard the song but i could not get it out of my head later. cheers again
