Pretty much every song's lyrics are available on line - just Google them.
Lots of you tube songs have lyrics added either on the screen or below in the text too.

thank you MarkRae - didn't realise it was just that easy - have tried to google the artist and the song but haven't come up with what I want -am looking for the artist to sing whilst the lyrics are displayed. But thanks for the answer.
Well, that's why your browser has tabs... :-)

There are some sites which display lyrics along with the vocals ("bouncing ball") but most songs aren't available that way

there is a download to add the lyrics to windows media if that is what you use to listen to your music with.

it's my (?) default browser - I just click on to it
> I just click on to it

But what is "it"...?
What does the picture that you click on for the internet look like?
Rsvp:
You can find out which browser you're using (and which version) by going to Help > About on the menu bar.

Here's how to perform a Google search for lyrics. (Note the quotation marks. They force Google to search for that specific phrase):

> You can find out which browser you're using (and which version) by going to Help > About on the menu bar

There's no menu bar in Google Chrome by default...
Mark:
That did occur to me but I assumed that it was unlikely that anyone who didn't know what browser they'd got would actually be using Chrome. (It usually involves an active choice to get Chrome). I'm guessing that it will be a version of Internet Explorer.

'It' is the internet thingie I use to do anything - if I want to google 'lyrics for Don Williams - ghost sory - then I put that in - if I want to know how to split the atom then I type that in. I just don't seem to be able to type an artist/song/lyric and get a result
