I heard a song at about 1735 tonight on (I think as I don`t remember changing channels) 102.2. It`s not showing up in their recently played list. It was a woman with a souly, slightly husky voice and some of the words were "Since you`ve been gone". It`s not Kelly Clarkson. The sound had an old-style sound about it in the vein of Misty Blue by Dorothy Moore. Anyone know what it is? I`m going out so don`t have time to investigate further.

Gloria EstefanCan't Stay Away From You?
Forget that, I think. That was on at 5:55

Thanks Factor but no, it wasn`t her. It was on before Smokey Robinson but is not showing on their list. I didn`t want to email the DJ because he would probably tell the answer on air and I`m not able to listen to it due to getting ready/going out. It was a woman`s voice that I`m not familiar with and it did repeat "Since you`ve been gone" several times.
Aretha Franklin had a song of that name but she doesn't sound like DM

No, not Aretha Franklin. I`ve never heard this voice before. Although the sound was old-style, it didn`t sound like a decades old song.

Oh Fab, I`ve just found it as playing now on the radio. It`s Dark Black by Kristina Train.
