Today I found among my CD collection an album by David Gray, and it got me thinking how most singers disappear after one or two albums, despite looking like they'll be in it for the long term. Others I can think of are Gabrielle, Tori Amos, Sheryl Crow, Texas, The Cranberries, Eliza Doolittle...Who else would you put in that category?

Yes, B00, Sheryl Crow was the one who went all tree-hugger.

Dido had a baby a year ago, but comes back with a new album in March. Gabrielle has a new album out next year. The Cranberries released an album in February this year - their sixth (They split up for a while and then reformed).
Shirley Manson (from Garbage)

Also hot as hell though... hmmm :)

that guy from Haysi married Patsy Kensit a couple of years ago...and divorced her a few months later! Mind you it was the girl in Haysi most people noticed
Dina Carroll was amazing.
"Beautiful South"

I'd say not really.... great band, nobody else can make a song sound so lovely when it's in fact so rude/angry/nasty :)
