Wonder where he is now Steg....did you ever go to top story club..? or clouds they sometimes played there..or Nicky tams..or fagans ?
Think it was very early 80's but could be wrong. X
THE BEATLES - Caird Hall, Dundee 1963.
I'm not a big gig person. I remember seeing Sinitta and Go West at a local night club.

First stadium gig was probably Dire Straits in Holland or Elton John & Eric Clapton at Wembley.
My Chemical Romance in Aberdeen... One friend passed out and I was left on my own with my other friend who's epileptic. It's one night I wont forget for a long time haha!
Wow Maggie!! Wish I had a time machine! :(

I'm watching Across the Universe right now.. Amazing film! :)
New Kids on The Block, I was 13 and my lovely Dad drove me and 3 friends to Birmingham from near Glasgow and drove us back again once the concert was over.
Bruce Springsteen - Sheffield
Pilot had 4 hits, the 2 you missed were lesser known tracks Just A Smile and Call Me Round both just as good as the other 2 major hit singles. There was also a TOTP appearance with the song Canada which failed to crack the top 50 ( This would have been termed a chart 'hit' at the time ) They extended to a top 75 from 1977 onwards.
What a nice dad voddy. !
Madonna at Wembley Stadium 1987, twas very good.
One I missed - had a ticket for QUEEN but was ill. Thought I'd see them again but it wasn't to be.
Rolling Stones, who were a blues band
Little Stevie Wonder, Lewisham Odeon with I think Martha Reeves and the Vandellas as support. Unbelievably fanastic night.
The Searchers back in the '60's, at the old Grenada, Mansfield. The two back up turns were Dusty Springfield and Big Dee Irwin. I saw most of the big sixties acts there before they became too big for the old one night stands.
The Police, circa 1977.
i saw mott the hoople at the hammersmith odeon in 1973. the support band was an outfit called queen.
mushroom25 - I saw that tour as well, in Stoke - Freddie split his trousers!

My actual first gig was Argent at my grammar schoo dance, and my proper first proper credible gig was David Bowie in 1973 on the Ziggy tour.
