Songs From Hot Summers Past

Heart Radio`s playing Lets Dance by David Bowie. I remember that from the hot summer of 1983. There always seemed to be songs that were released in summer and when you hear them years or decades later, they take you right back. That doesn`t seem to happen anymore. The only song I can think of for this summer so far is Robin Thicke. Do you think that people only remember the songs when it`s a hot summer?

Was about to post Summer in the City but Edmund beat me to it.

Like Tigger it has to be the Isleys' Summer Breeze, and yet, to my shame I had no idea that Seals and Croft did the original in Aug 72.
Just takes me back to lovely weather when I was in my late 20's !!
